NAVA Propertymark
Protects and guides consumers, promoting the highest standards of professionalism throughout the auctioneering and valuation industry, from property to fine art and chattels and everything in between. We work to promote high standards through education and qualifications within the sector. NAVA Propertymark experts meet higher standards than the law demands and through this we offer greater protection to consumers.
National Association of Valuers and Auctioneers (NAVA) evolved into NAVA Propertymark in February 2017, working with sister organisations NAEA Propertymark, NAEA Commercial and Propertymark Qualifications to improve the choices available to consumers. By holding our members accountable and by empowering consumers with knowledge and advice, we protect them and their money.
Those using auctioneers and valuers who display the Propertymark Protected logo have the peace of mind that they enjoy Client Money Protection, Professional Indemnity insurance and membership of an independent redress scheme. Members are also subject to Propertymark’s Conduct and Membership Rules and disciplinary procedures with sanctions for those who fall below the expected standards.
The key aim of NAVA is to promote and ensure professionalism and best practice, and by doing so, provide a first class service to both members and the general public – the people who use members’ services. NAVA’s membership requirements promote high standards. Member and Fellow grade must be qualified and agree to follow stringent Rules of Conduct and Code of Practice.
